Each discipline has a specific focus, from alignment, strength, and flexibility to memorization, coordination, and performance.
At GDC all students receive the same high level of attention and guidance, regardless of their aspirations. We invite you to experience what a difference Georgia Dance Conservatory can make in your child’s growth!

COMPANY DIVISION

Georgia Dance Conservatory is the official school of Georgia Metro Dance Theatre (GMDT), a student based dance company producing professional quality dance and ballet performances in Cobb County, Marietta, GA. Founded by Atlanta dance pioneer Ruth Mitchell in 1956, GMDT is proudly one of the oldest non-profit arts organizations in Georgia. Our 100+ dancers ages 7-18 are trained through Georgia Dance Conservatory’s Company Division program with dance instructors who specialize in preparing students for the stage.
